South Ukrainian NPP was inspected by the International Atomic Energy Agency under the Agreement between Ukraine and the IAEA in connection with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.

Verification of the absence of undeclared nuclear material and information on the design of the nuclear installation provided to Ukraine in accordance with the Agreement was carried out by the Agency's inspectors with the participation of the SNRIU inspector.
