Every year on August 23, Ukrainians honor one of the main national symbols - the blue and yellow flag. Our flag is a symbol of the struggle for freedom and independence, a symbol of national identity, heroism and defiance.
The blue and yellow flag appears not only in the cities, towns and villages of Ukraine, but also in the soul of every Ukrainian.
The Ukrainian flag today is also a talisman that is always with our military on their chevrons, in their backpacks, on military equipment and in combat positions. The blue and yellow flag is a shrine that is raised with high honor by heroic Ukrainian soldiers over the territories of Ukraine liberated from russian occupiers.
We are convinced that our flag will return to all corners of Ukraine, that it will again rise over Zaporizhzhya NPP, and that Europe's largest nuclear power plant will cease to be an instrument of Russian terror and will produce light and heat for peaceful homes of Ukrainians.
Happy National Flag Day! Glory to Ukraine!
