On October 12, 2021, an unannounced inspection of the International Atomic Energy Agency under the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons is being conducted at Rivne NPP. The inspection is carried out by inspectors of the Agency with the participation of the SNRIU inspector.

The purpose of the inspection is to verify the absence of undeclared nuclear material and undeclared nuclear activities.
