According to the Chornobyl NPP, on August 1, 2017 the first stage of complex tests of Interim Dry Spent Fuel Storage Facility (ISFS-2) with the imitators of spent fuel assemblies (SFA), the so-called "cold" tests, were started.
Complex tests are carried out in accordance with the "Program of complex tests of ISFS-2 with the imitators of SFA", agreed by the SNRIU on August 01, 2017.
The estimated period of these "cold" tests is 7 weeks.
