Recorded earthquakes in the Ternopil region of Ukraine didn’t affect the state of nuclear and radiation safety of Ukrainian NPPs, according to the operational assessment and official information of the Radiation Safety Department of RNPP.

Ukrainian NPPs operate in normal mode.

Seismological indicators recorded by observation systems at NPP sites don’t exceed the requirements for seismic design and seismic safety assessment of nuclear power units.
