Acting Chairman of the SNRIU Oleh KORIKOV decided to completely stop cooperation in the field of nuclear energy with the aggressor-country. In his opinion, there are no prospects for resuming cooperation within the framework of the relevant bilateral agreements.

Thus, the SNRIU appealed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources to denounce bilateral agreements with the Russian Federation on the safety of nuclear energy, namely:

• Agreement on cooperation and exchange of information between the Federal Supervision of Nuclear and Radiation Safety of Russia and the State Nuclear Regulatory Committee of Ukraine on the exchange of information and cooperation in the field of safety regulation in the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes;
• Agreement between the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Nuclear Safety of Ukraine and the Federal Nuclear and Radiation Safety Survey of the Russian Federation on cooperation in the sphere of nuclear and radiation safety.
