«TOWARDS NUCLEAR AND RADIATION SAFETY IN UKRAINE THROUGH MULTI-STAKEHOLDER DIALOGUE»

The event aims at establishing a permanent dialogue of stakeholders to develop an efficient policy ensuring nuclear and radiation safety in Ukraine. Participants – representatives of central and local government, NGOs, regulators, operators, media, and invited distinguished international experts – will discuss international and, in particular, European experience in taking measures to increase nuclear and radiation safety following the Chernobyl and Fukushima accidents, analyze situation with nuclear and radiation safety in Ukraine, discuss how to ensure proper public access to information and participation in decision-making in accordance to Aarhus Convention and best European practices, in particular regarding nuclear safety and preparedness to accidents.
