On November 11, 2020, the Chairman - Chief State Inspector for Nuclear and Radiation Safety of Ukraine Hrihorii PLACHKOV held a meeting to consider the readiness of Unit №4 of ZNPP for start-up after scheduled preventive repairs with overloading of the reactor core.

The meeting was attended by representatives of NNEGC Energoatom, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, the SES, the Security Service of Ukraine, specialists of the ZNPP, the SNRIU and the SSTC NRS.

Based on the information of NNEGC Energoatom, the meeting noted:

- planned measures of the Comprehensive (consolidated) program to increase the level of safety of nuclear power units, approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 7, 2011. for №1270 made in physical volumes;

- works on modernization, repairing and testing of equipment of systems important for safety are performed in the necessary volumes and are at the final stage.

Based on the results of the meeting, the SNRIU decided to issue a separate written permit for the commissioning of Unit №4 of ZNPP after scheduled and preventive repairs with overload of the core.
