On August 20, 2021, at 11:00, the Chornobyl NPP will be awarded a license to operate the complex of the Confinement and the Shelter Object.

This license will provide regulatory control over both the current operation of the complex and the subsequent transformation of the Shelter into a ecological safe area.

The event will be attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the State Agency of Ukraine for Exclusion Zone Management, SSE "Chornobyl NPP", representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Representation of the European Commission.
