This week, measures were taken to apply IAEA guarantees at Ukrainian enterprises.

IAEA inspections and maintenance of IAEA equipment were carried out at the Institute of Safety Problems of Nuclear Power Plants, the SSP "Chornobyl NPP", and at the Centralized Spent Fuel Storage facility of VVER Type Reactors of the NPP of Ukraine.

Also, on August 10, 2022, inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency were granted additional access to the SSP "Chornobyl NPP" and to the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

All inspections are carried out by inspectors of the Agency with the participation of SNRIU inspectors with the purpose of the verification of the absence of undeclared nuclear activity.
