From March 11 to 12, 2022, Khmelnytskyi NPP will be inspected by the International Atomic Energy Agency under the Agreement between Ukraine and the IAEA in connection with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. The inspection is carried out by inspectors of the Agency with the participation of the inspector of the SNRIU.

The purpose of the inspection is to verify the absence of undeclared nuclear material and information on the design of the nuclear installation provided to Ukraine in accordance with the Agreement.
