As of 6.30 a.m. April 30, 2015 according to the information provided by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, no fire spread is observed in the Chornobyl NPP Exclusion Zone; work is underway to extinguish separate fire hotbeds of the forest floor within the limits of controlled perimeter in the territory of approximately 70 hectares.
Movable supervision point and firefighting headquarters have been deployed at the fire-affected area in order to provide general coordination of measures aimed at the forest fire elimination.
Radionuclides content indices as well as radiation level in the exclusion zone do not exceed determined testing levels.
