The Institute of Nuclear Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine has launched a multifunctional corpus of situational exercises.

The opening of the multifunctional building was attended by the Chairman of the SNRIU - Chief State Inspector for Nuclear and Radiation Safety of Ukraine Hrihorii PLACHKOV who thanked for the implementation of the US Government project "Ukraine's readiness for physical protection".

The multifunctional corpus of situational exercises simulates the engineering and technical means of the system of physical protection of nuclear and radiation-hazardous objects and is used for practical training of physical protection personnel of these objects, security units and other participants of physical protection systems.

During the opening of the building, the participants were shown the simulation of the capture of a nuclear installation and the operation of security services (physical protection) in response to incidents.
