Anonymous information concerning possible mining of Zaporizhya and Chornobyl NPPs was received on the 24th of February, 2015.
Operational personnel of the above-mentioned NPPs and servicemen responsible for their protection have realized a package of measures on bypass and inspection of the premises, buildings, territory and also external NPPs facilities – unauthorized persons and objects have not been detected.
Intensified protection and patrol regime of the territory and facilities of Zaporizhya and Chornobyl NPPs is being carried out. In accordance with the “Site-specific plan of NPPs interaction in case of sabotage” employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Security Service of Ukraine were involved in taking appropriate measures.
